In this edition: Keystone’s Latest Travels and Expansion
July Highlights
London – Keystone’s Ben Gray called into London for a few days on his way home from annual leave spent in Morocco and Spain. It was a valuable opportunity for him to touch base with a few contacts in the Lloyds market and to follow up on other visits by the Keystone team earlier in the year.
Brisbane – UAC was in mid-July with Jon Willmott and Kaleb Forster attending a well patronized event that kept them busy discussing the needs of the broking community there and ways we can help. They also took the opportunity to further strengthen our connections in the Queensland market, spending some time visiting important broker partners.
Welcome Kelly Ross-Howard – Keystone has welcomed Kelly’s expertise and enthusiasm that have been making a significant contribution to our success. She is proficient in the Life Sciences sector and with her able assistance, Keystone has just secured a binder in that field.
Office Move Completed – In a significant milestone, Keystone moved to a new location in early July. Our new premises further down Bay Road Cheltenham is not only more spacious, but also provides room for expanded carpet bowls, a pool table, and table tennis. We are enjoying the leafy surrounds of a plant nursery, creating a pleasant work environment. We are delighted to advise we are now located at 104/266-268 Bay Road, Cheltenham.
August Highlights
Kaleb’s Adventure in London – Kaleb flew to London to embark on a six-month leave of absence, working with our London broker partner, Ambris, on Fenchurch Street. His presence there has been helping to expand our influence in the market and for Kaleb to gain valuable insights into the global insurance process.
Western Sydney UAC – Jon Willmott and Ben Gray attended the Western Sydney UAC, continuing to foster good relationships within that broking region.
September Highlights
Adelaide UAC – Charlotte Cunliffe and John King attended the Adelaide UAC, carrying the message of Keystone’s commitment to service and quality products. They also caught up with broking associates, spending quality time chatting in-depth about how Keystone can assist with furthering mutual goals.
Footy Day for a Cause – Wrapping up the AFL football season, we held a footy day in the office to raise funds for children with cancer. The Keystone team wore their footy scarves to display their allegiances, some more enthusiastically than others, particularly those supporting Collingwood and the Brisbane Lions!
Supporting R U OK Day – Keystone’s commitment to mental health was evident as we actively supported R U OK Day. John King and ‘Woody’ spearheaded our efforts to make a positive impact.
October Highlights
London – During several weeks in October, John King flew the Keystone flag in London, meeting with key partners to strengthen our ties in the Lloyds market and advance new opportunities on Keystone’s horizon. He was delighted to be able to catch up with Kaleb and see him happily settled in the London scene.
NIBA Convention – Meanwhile, Neil Sheppard and Jon Willmott represented Keystone at this year’s NIBA Convention held over three days at The Star Gold Coast. The event was a huge success and presented the opportunity for them to further grow some key relationships, make new ones, and promote Keystone’s products to a wide audience. Neil and Jon also extended their stay, taking the opportunity to meet with some strong supporters in Queensland.
Wollongong – Jon Willmott and Charlotte Cunliffe were able to continue to promote the Keystone message of service and quality products at the Wollongong UAC in mid-October.
With these exciting developments and engagements, Keystone remains dedicated to providing the best service and products to brokers. We look forward to a busy end to the year. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting news!
