When did you start Keystone? What were you doing beforehand?
I joined Keystone in March 2023. Before joining Keystone I worked as the Third Party Claims Manager at Arch Insurance.
What is your role at Keystone and what does a typical day look like for you?
I am the Claims Manager at Keystone. On a typical day, I will review all new and existing claims, touch base with brokers, lawyers, and other stakeholders and complete our reporting. When I’m in the office this will often be punctuated with frisbee in the park or a team lunch. At home, it’s beach walks with the dog.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
No two days and no two claims are the same. This keeps the day-to-day interesting. I always have good stories to tell the team.
What makes Keystone special in comparison to other places you’ve worked?
The people. The team is so invested in what we are doing here and are so hungry to learn more. It’s exciting. It makes you want to come to work every day. It’s also a very funny place to work, I laugh a lot in the office!
What is your proudest moment at Keystone?
I am always proud when something we’re collectively working toward comes off. You can really see in that moment that we are growing and where we are going. On a less professional note, it will be the day I finally win a pop head. That hasn’t happened yet, but I’m really looking forward to it.
What book did you last read?
Pachinko by Min Jin Lee.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
Be afraid and do it anyway. This is my life motto. Good things, whether they are successes or failures, come when you step outside your comfort zone.
