Success of the Keystone Broker Portal continues to grow with significantly more brokers using the facility. The last couple of months alone has seen the number of users grow by roughly 50% to more than 450 broking firms.
Keystone’s Broker Portal offers 11 product lines with an expanding list of occupations, now at over 1500. This can provide brokers with an advantage, enabling them to obtain a quote and bind online at any time that suits them. Brokers have commented on how easy it is to use, very straightforward and appropriate to their needs.
Keystone has been very pleased to announce our alliance with TK Specialty Risks (TKSR) that began on 1 October. We are delighted to welcome Tom Kent and his team as an Authorised Representative of Keystone Underwriting Australia. We look forward to the mutual benefits of this arrangement and are excited to have the opportunity to be associated with a quality team of people. The insurance fields in which they are involved are complementary to Keystone’s offering and provide enhanced reach into South Australia and Western Australia.
The expanding team in Keystone’s Melbourne office since early in the year has made us think strategically about managing physical growth. An opportunity came up during this time to purchase office space adjacent to our current location. In July we settled on the acquisition. Not great timing in terms of the COVID-19 impact as we were not able to move in, but it has given us plenty of time to plan the space over the past couple of months and be fully prepared.
The team’s emphasis for now continues to be on efficiently working from home, and this will continue to serve us well into the future. We have appreciated the benefits of a good work/life balance that has contributed to the achievements of the business. We are looking forward though, to moving in to our newly set up space soon and enjoying that working dynamic which comes with daily or regular in person interaction with the team. We will be surrounded by artwork purchases from galleries we have insured. It has been a pleasure to actively support these local clients of our brokers.
