Keystone Underwriting Pty Ltd has been successfully operating now for over three months. Directors Neil Sheppard, John King and David Jones launched this independently owned and regulated Australian underwriting agency in February 2020. They obtained an AFS license for their business after being an authorised representative of Quantum.
Keystone sees exciting times ahead for what John King describes as a “service-centric company”, despite the challenges of current market conditions. Keystone are enormously grateful for the solid support they have received from the broking community since the February launch, which has well exceeded their expectations. Keystone has been thoroughly testing their new end-to-end, online broker portal, over the past few months. They are very pleased to announce that this quote portal is ‘live’. Two years of intensive in-house development has resulted in a system that delivers over 1,500 occupations across 11 product lines to the broking community. Brokers can quote and bind 24/7.
The initial ‘take-up’ by brokers registering for Keystone’s platform is best described by Managing Director, Neil Sheppard. “It’s been amazing to be honest!
