Welcome to our first newsletter of 2025! Hard to believe that we have already come to the end of the first quarter. The Keystone team have hit the ground running this year with achievements near and far. Here’s to another quarter of growth, collaboration, and success!
Jon Visits Key Stakeholders in London
Jon travelled to London at the start of the year to meet with key London connections. The visit was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, align on priorities, and discuss strategies for the coming year. His insights from these meetings is helping to drive our continued success and ensure we remain aligned with our global objectives.
Team Photoshoot
The team organised a photoshoot to capture fresh staff images in the stunning scenery of the gardens downstairs from the office. The session was not only productive but was a chance to showcase the natural beauty that surrounds our workplace. The photos will be a great addition to our company’s profile and reflect the professional yet approachable spirit of our team.
Roisin and Billy Visit the Melbourne Office
We were excited to host Roisin McGrady and Billy Hollis from Bannerman Rendell at our Melbourne office, where they experienced our vibrant team culture firsthand. They joined in on some of our office games, including our much-loved daily trivia, adding extra fun to their visit. It was a pleasure to share our unique workplace atmosphere and build stronger connections.
John and Emma Attend the Australian Open with Collin Biggers and Paisley (CBP) Panel Lawyers
John and Emma had the exciting opportunity to attend the Australian Open as guests of CBP. The event was a fantastic mix of world-class tennis and valuable networking with industry peers in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. It was a great way to strengthen our partnership with CBP while enjoying one of the premier sporting events of the year. Experiences like these underscore the importance of building connections and celebrating shared success.
Emma and Georgia Celebrate Promotions
It’s been a big quarter for progression here at Keystone. We’re thrilled to announce that Emma has been promoted to Claims Handler while continuing her role as Underwriting Assistant. Additionally, Georgia has stepped up into the role of Underwriting Assistant. These promotions highlight our commitment to recognising talent and providing opportunities for growth within the team. Congratulations to you both!

Keystone had the pleasure of celebrating multiple team member anniversaries in February, alongside our company anniversary, marking another year of dedication and success. It was a great opportunity to reflect on our collective achievements and recognize the hard work of our incredible team. Our team had the privilege of attending UAC Sydney, where we engaged with brokers and industry professionals from across the sector. The event provided valuable insights into emerging market trends and strengthened our existing partnerships. Connecting with brokers in person allowed us to reinforce our commitment to collaboration and delivering exceptional service.
Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs) White Night
A few members of our team attended the Young Insurance Professionals White Night, an event dedicated to fostering the future of the insurance industry. It was a fantastic evening of networking, knowledge-sharing, and celebrating the next generation of industry leaders. Supporting young professionals is a priority for our business, and we are proud to contribute to the development of emerging talent in the sector.
Keystone tries a Tri!
Our team participated in the recent Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon in Elwood with incredible energy and determination, achieving multiple personal bests across the event. Their persistence and dedication at training paid off, showcasing both individual growth and the strength of our team spirit. We’re proud of their accomplishments and inspired by their commitment to pushing boundaries, both in sport and in business!
Gemma, Jess and Georgia in Asia
A few team members recently visited Asia for some exciting time away from work. Gemma travelled to China to see her friends and family. Jess travelled to Japan, where she enjoyed skiing in the snowy mountains. And Georgia also visited family in Vietnam. All had amazing experiences and returned with great stories to share.
Yayoi Kusama Exhibition – NGV
Our team recently visited the Yayoi Kusama Exhibition at the NGV, immersing ourselves in the artist’s vibrant world of colour, patterns, and creativity. The experience was both inspiring and thought-provoking, offering a fresh perspective on innovation and artistic expression. It was a fantastic opportunity to step outside our usual routines, spending some relaxed time together over dinner and a wander around an amazing world-class exhibition!
Kaleb visits Perth
Kaleb took a trip to Perth to catch up with some broker connections and expand his network while flying the Keystone flag. He enjoyed both the professional connections and the unique moments during his visit. At the end of a busy week, he visited his grandparents’ farm and had the unexpected joy of meeting ‘Henry’ the cow, which made for a fun and memorable experience. Kaleb returned with valuable insights—and a funny story about his new bovine friend!
Sophie joins the Keystone Team
We’re delighted to welcome Sophie Leggatt to our team! After successfully completing her Fine Art university degree, Sophie has joined Keystone as an Administration Assistant. She brings enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, and we look forward to seeing her thrive in her new role.
